Nvidia announces their third Pascal based graphics card, the GTX 1060

Nvidia's Pascal based GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 cards are now available in the market and so it AMD's Radeon RX 480 graphics card which is currently the most affordable graphics card in the sub-200 price bracket. But today Nvdia is announcing it's third Pascal based graphics card, the Nvidia GTX 1060 which is up to 3x faster than the outgoing GTX 960

According to Nvidia, their new GTX 1060 graphics card is as powerful as the GTX 980 and this is made possible with the new Pascal based GP106 GPU that is made using the FinFET 16nm process. The Founders Edition GTX 1060 will feature a similar shroud design like the GTX 1080 and will only require a single 6-pin power adapter to power the card.

GTX 1060 cards will be available beginning July 19 in over 200 countries for US$ 249 (~MYR 1,000) and yes, this card will is VR ready. Learn more about the GTX 1060 here.
