Nintendo recently revealed that they will be bringing Mario to mobile platforms with the release of Super Mario Run on the Apple App Store later this year. But that doesn't mean that Nintendo is no longer making hardware. After a year long wait, Nintendo's Wii U successor previously known as Nintendo NX is now called Nintendo Switch.

What sets the Nintendo NX apart from any other gaming console currently available is it's modular design which all starts with the Joy-Con controller that can be plugged into the Nintendo Switch's display. The Nintendo NX is designed to be use everywhere due to it's modular design that allows it to be easily adapted to different situations.

Right now, Nintendo is targeting a March 2017 launch of the Nintendo NX and there's no word on pricing yet. But one thing is for sure, you can expect to see new Nintendo classic titles like Pokemon and Mario to be available to play on the Nintendo Switch.
