LeEco announces the $399 Snapdragon 821 powered Le Pro 3
A couple months back, Chinese firm LeEco announced that it will be acquiring the Irvine based Vizio to help the company gain better presence in the Unite States. Today, LeEco is doing just that by showing off their latest flagship smartphone that is price pretty aggressively and a new mid-range smartphone for the international markets.
— Snapdragon 821 SoC
— 4/6GB RAM
— 32/64/128GB memory
— 16MP f2.0 rear camera
— 8MP front camera

— Android 6.0 Marshmallow w/eUI 5.8

For starters, the new Le Pro 3 from LeEco features the same processing package found in Google's new Pixel phones and LeEco is packaging all these hardware into an aluminium build that is both compact and striking. And probably the most apparent thing about the new Le Pro 3 is that it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack like the iPhone 7 but LeEco is bundling in USB Type-C earphones with the Le Pro 3.
LeEco will begin selling their new LePro 3 in the United States in November 2016 for US$ 399 (~MYR 1,700) and the company is throwing in a three month subscription of their EcoPass membership which includes services like unlimited movie streaming on Fandor and access to 5TB of cloud storage. Additionally, LeEco is also showing off their first VR headset called the LeEco Explore VR that is designed to work with their new smartphones. The headset itself features a plastic build like Samsung's own Gear VR but right now LeEco isn't confirming any pricing or availability of the headset.
Moving on to the last bit of smartphone from LeEco's launch this morning. That is the announcement of the LeEco Le S3 which is a toned down version of the Le Pro 3. The Le S3 still doesn't come with a 3.5mm headphone jack but it does come with all the goodness of the Le Pro S3 like the sleek aluminum build, speedy fingerpritn sensor, powerful 16MP camera and even adds a Rose Gold color option.
