Xiaoyi's new $330 Micro 4/3 camera shoots 4K video
There is no doubt that Xiaomi's Yi subsidiary makes the best action cameras in terms of price but the company is ready to step up their game with their first mirrorless camera. Dubbed the Xiaoyi M1, this new mirrorless camera from China looks to be a pretty decent camera for the price. Probably the highlight of this camera is it's ability to shoot 4K video at 30fps

The Xiaoyi M1 utilizes the Micro 4/3 system that both Olympus and Panasonic uses on their lineup of mirrorless cameras. This means that that the Xiaoyi M1 will be able to take advantage of a wide selection of lenses but if you want something new, the company is also introducing two lenses based on the Micro 4/3 system.
As a mirrorless camera, the Xiaoyi M1 looks pretty minimalist with a couple of buttons and clean lines all over the camera. There's no EVF on this camera but there is a hotshoe mount as well as the obligatory Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. Initially, the company will only be offering the Xiaoyi M1 in China for a starting price of CN¥ 2,199 (~US$ 330 / ~MYR 1,300) for the body and a 12-40mm f3.5-5.6 lens and CN¥ 2,999 (~US$ 450 / ~MYR 1,800) for the 42.5mm f1.8 lens bundle.
