OnePlus updates their 2016 flagship phone with better hardware

Chines smartphone maker OnePlus today announced a new smartphone which is designed to replace their 6-month old OnePlus 3. The new OnePlus 3T will be replacing the existing OnePlus 3 and the newer model is mostly just a spec upgrade. It now comes with up to 128GB of flash storage and a 16MP front facing camera.

Also highlighting this new OnePlus 3T is Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 821 SoC which the same processing package on Google's new Pixel phones. Last but not least, OnePlus also improved the battery size on the OnePlus 3T from 3,000 to 3,400mAh. But beyond that, the new OnePlus 3T is still the same affordable flagship that launched earlier this year and it is still running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Oxygen OS out of the box

OnePlus will begin selling the new OnePlus 3T in the United States beginning November 22 for US$ 439 (~MYR 1,900) and US$ 479 (~MYR 2,050) for the 64GB and 128GB models respectively. Learn more about the OnePlus 3T here
