Samsung's Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ arrives in Malaysia for RM 2,699 and RM 3,099

Ahead of IFA, Samsung launched a pair of new phablets in NYC and starting tomorrow, both the Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ will be made available to avid users in Malaysia. Samsung's new range of phablets feature the same metal and glass combo from the Galaxy S6 announced earlier this year but the main difference here is the size. Both the Note5 and S6 edge+ comes with a 5.7" AMOLED QHD display and while the Note5's display has a slight 2.5D curve, the S6 edge+ has curves on both sides of the device.

Under the hood, Samsung is still using the same Exynos 7420 octa-core CPU from the Galaxy S6 but the RAM has been configured to 4GB. The same 16MP camera on the Galaxy S6 has also been brought to both the Note5 and S6 edge+. Beyond that, most of the specifications of the Note5 and S6 edge+ is identical to that of it's smaller brother from earlier this year. One noticeable change is that the Note5 and S6 edge+ comes with a new fast wireless charging solution built right into the device.

The Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ alongside a wide range of accessories to bump up the functionality will be available in stores nationwide tomorrow (September 4) and the Galaxy Note5 is priced at RM 2,699 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ is at RM 3,099. Prices are inclusive of GST and both Note5 and S6 edge+ models sold in Malaysia are Dual SIM phones and currently there's only a 32GB option.
