Samsung's new wireless charging monitor is also certified for Windows 10
It took a while but as of today, we finally have desktop monitor which can also help you to charge your smartphone wirelessly provided your phone supports it. Samsung is calling this monitor the SE370 which they are claiming to be the world's first monitor to come with a build in wireless charging mat that is Qi compatible.
As more smartphone begin to come with built in and optional wireless charging, it's natural for us to see every day products to come integrate with wireless charging. Sure it might not be as cool like IKEA's wireless charging furniture but it's a window to the future or charging without boundaries.
The SE370 comes in two display sizes; a 23" and 27" display which both feature a 1080P resolution, a little bit on the low side but that's the price you have to pay to be on the bleeding edge of technology. The monitor also features a 4ms response time, a HDMI port, a display port, an a VGA port.
Samsung is also saying that the SE370 is not only support wireless charging, it is also compatible with Windows 10 which is coming out later this week. No word on when the monitor will actually be release or how much it is priced at.
