Windows Insiders will get the final version of Windows 10 for free, says Gabriel Aul
Microsoft has been making some pretty good progress with Windows 10 in the various leaked builds and it is clear that things are being polished up for the apparent launch by the end of Summer. Previously, Microsoft shared with us that Windows 7 and Windows 8 users will be able to update to Windows 10 at no extra charge but certain terms do exist.
In a twitter reply today, Gabriel revealed that Windows Insiders will be able to update to the RTM version of Windows 10 for free. RTM stands for Release To Manufacturing and as the acronym suggests, it's the final version of Windows 10 which PC vendors will then use to load up to their new computers.
Given the controversy with the free update to Windows 10 even for pirated version of Windows, there'll definitely be solicit terms behind this.
If the reports are true that Windows 10 is launching by the end of Summer then we'll most likely be seeing the RTM version of Windows 10 being seeded out before July starts.
