Samsung or Apple, that is a debate which never ends. Here is new tablet by Samsung which doesn't look much like an iPad killer by any means but it does have several similar features to Apple's first generation iPad. Samsung is calling this the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and it will be making it's way to Germany next month.

This new tablet by Samsung is by no means the cream of the crop as it features specs that made you doubt that the Galaxy S6 is actually made by Samsung. Ok, maybe it's not that bad but for today's standard this tablet seems to be an entry level offering and even Samsung is suggesting that users who want to do light reading and web browsing to buy this tablet.

On the front you have the 9.7" 768 X 1024 resolution display which has a 4:3 aspect ratio. Powering it is the quad core Snapdragon 410 processor and 1.5GB of RAM. The device also features 16GB of expandable memory, a 2MP front facing camera, a 5MP flashless rear camera and runs of Android 5.0 Lollipop which looks to feature the tweaked version of TouchWiz found on the new Galaxy S6.

As to whether it'll be worth the money given that you could buy a Nexus 7 or iPad mini for the price it's going for; €299 (RM 1,180) for the wi-fi only variant and €349 (RM 1,377) for the LTE version. At this point we're not even sure Samsung would even bring this to Malaysia but it'll probably be not worth the money anyways.
