The two hottest android phones of the year have been announced at MWC 2015 last week and Samsung has already stamped April 10 for the release of the Galaxy S6 but HTC has only given a release time frame. However today, online store ePrice listed that the HTC One M9 will be available for purchase on March 16.

But, the catch is that the online listing is only available for Taiwan residents and given that HTC said the global roll out is by the end of March, so the device will move over to other regions in the coming weeks. As for pricing, lists two storage options for the device, 32 and 64GB. The 32GB HTC One M9 is priced at 21,900 NT$ (MYR 2,552 or $693) and the 64GB one is at 23,900 NT$ (MYR 2,785 or $756).

To recap, the HTC One M9 does have a microSD card slot which is capable of cards up to 128GB so you need not worry to invest on the 64GB model. Under the hood, the HTC One M9 packs the new 8 core Snapdragon 810 and 3GB of RAM. The screen is still a 5" 1080P panel but the camera is now upgraded to a 20MP sensor without Optical Image Stabilization.

Don't expect the HTC One M9 to reach Malaysia that early given that previous HTC One models wasn't immediately offered in Malaysia when it started rolling out globally. So, i expect the HTC One M9 to be available in Malaysia by mid-April for about MYR 2,499
