With dropping sales figures and reports that Apple overtook Samsung's smartphone market share, many speculated that Samsung is going down the drain. But, the company did announce their new flagship device during MWC 2015 last week. Coming in two flavors, normal and curved, Samsung managed to win the hearts of many with the design of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

Well, there is a report today straight from Korea that Samsung has received a record amount of orders for the Galaxy S6 brother(s). The standard Galaxy S6 received 15 million orders and 5 million for the curvier Galaxy S6 edge; and that totals up to 20 million units. These numbers come from a high level executive from a leading wireless carrier in Europe and like many out there, the executive also has high hopes for both devices.

To recap, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge features a premium glass and aluminum unibody build and is powered by the company's new 14nm Exynos processor. Samsung will be rolling out the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on April 10 in 20 countries and the global rollout will continue soon after that.
