As expected, Samsung Mobile Malaysia has quietly unveiled the Galaxy Note Edge during the Galaxy A launch earlier this year. Well, today via Facebook, Samsung confirms that customers who want the 'edge' will wait not more because the Galaxy Note Edge will be available at official Samsung retail stores throughout the country starting today.

Being priced in at MYR 2,999 which is MYR 500 more than the standard Galaxy Note 4 this device is based off. For that additional curve you're paying for, you'll be getting identical specs to the Galaxy Note 4 which includes the Snapdragon 805 processor, the QHD display, the 16MP camera and the new S Pen.

But, the main selling point of the Note Edge is definitely the curved screen on the right which can be occupied by some custom interfaces given that the app developer supports it on their app. Whether the extra curved display on the left is worth 500 bucks, it's up to you to decide on that.

To recap, the Galaxy Note Edge is available at Samsung retailers today for MYR 2,999 and given that the device is only available at select countries worldwide, don't expect there to be plenty of stock available. Keep in mind that, Samsung is also prepping to launch the dual curved screen Galaxy S Edge alongside the Galaxy S6 early next month during MWC 2015 in barcelona, stay tuned for more updates on that.
