Here's how voice calls will look like on WhatsApp
Much of the past few weeks were about the HTC One M9 but WhatsApp has also been making the headlines as it is expected to add a new feature to it's messaging app. That feature is the ability to make voice calls via WhatsApp. Well given that we are in 2015, leaks are abundant; a reddit user manged to get his hands on this new version and posted up a few screenshots of the voice call in action.
The current version of WhatsApp still doesn't come with the voice call but thankfully, the APK is available for android users (sorry iOS and WP users). But despite that, voice calls will only work on devices running Android 4.4 and above. Not to mention that, the voice call feature on WhatsApp is also on this invitation system in which only invited people can call another WhatApp user to invite them.
People who updated to latest build but still have no calling feature.. Go to terminal...insert this command with root privileges. ..am start -n com.whatsapp/com.whatsapp.HomeActivity (You have to do it everytime you want to use call feature) ~ Tropiux
Well you can give this a try if you're running Android 4.4 Kitkat and your phone is rooted. Remember, WhatsApp has not yet officially announced it nor confirmed it's existence yet so this voice calling feature will most likely roll out to users in a couple of weeks time since the APK file has already been leaked out.
