Alleged images of Motorola's 2015 Moto G appear
Besides announcing the affordable Moto E earlier this year, Motorola has been quiet about new devices but that is about to change. The flagship Moto X is expected to be unveiled about the same time Google releases Android M (Muffin?). While that comes into play, it looks like the third generation Moto G is about to be released.
Today, we have live images and also a short video on the device itself and it reveals the subtly new rear design alongside with some impressive new hardware. The 2015 Moto G, will come with the same 5" 720P display from its predecessor and a near identical Snapdragon 410 CPU is also included in the mix. What's interesting is that the rear camera has been bumped up to 13MP paired with a dual LED flash.
The front facing camera has also been up-ped to a 5MP unit and the device still sports 8GB of expandable storage via a microSD card.
In addition to that, it looks like Motorola is shaking up their design with the new 2015 Moto G. The classic Motorola dimple is still there but the dimple is now part of the plastic shroud for the camera module. Despite the minor design change, the colorful swappable backs are still a thing with the 2015 Moto G.
If all goes well, Motorola is expected to officially announce the 2015 Moto G in July and we'll likely see it come to Malaysia real soon too!
