The Nokia store in Suria KLCC will be overhauled as the first Microsoft Store in Asia Pacific
Hitching on all the news from Build 2015 this morning, Microsoft Devices Malaysia has sent out invites for the unveiling of the first Microsoft Store in Asia Pacific. Well, of course the store will be located in Malaysia and to be more specific, it'll be at Suria KLCC.
This comes right after Microsoft revealed the first Microsoft Priority Reseller in India which is part of their worldwide rebrand of Nokia stores. Given the location and media attention, this Microsoft Store will most likely the flagship one in Malaysia.
Speaking of rebrand, the location of this first Microsoft Store is actually the same place where the Nokia store in KLCC is. So, this is likely part of the 3,287 Nokia stores which are being overhauled with the Microsoft brand and also new interior.
The invite did not mention anything other than this being the first Microsoft Store in Asia Pacific and we're intrigued to see if Microsoft plans to bring in all their products like Surface, Xbox and Windows into the store.
We'll be there next Saturday to check it all out, in the mean time, do check out our ongoing updates for Build 2015.
