There is no denying that Google's YouTube video platform is the the best video sharing network on the market and Google has been working to improve the viewing experience in the last couple of years. In 2014, YouTube Red was announced as a premium ad-free version of YouTube which drops advertisements and adds exclusive YT only content from popular producers.

At the same time, Google also launched YouTube Offline for developing countries like India and today, the company is spinning off that concept into a dedicated application called YouTube Go. According to Google, this new YouTube Go app was tailored specifically for the Indian market. When available, this application will allow users to download videos for offline viewing.

The feature to download videos is important for markets like India where high speed data connectivity is still not widely available. But as of right now, Google isn't saying when this application will be available for download but interested (Indian) users can sign up to be the first to try out this app here
