Samsung announces a voluntary recall of the Galaxy Note7 due to battery explosions
Over the last weekend, reports started to trickle out as Galaxy Note7's are exploding. After a thorough investigation, Samsung Mobile has came to a conclusion that the problem with the explosion is due to the battery cell. As of today, Samsung has been informed of 35 cases of Galaxy Note7 explosions and according to Samsung's investigation, out of 1 million Galaxy Note7's, only 24 are affected with this battery issue.
Additionally, Samsung has halted the sales of the Galaxy Note7 globally due to safety hazards. In the coming weeks, Samsung will then begin a voluntary recall of the Galaxy Note7 whether affected or unaffected with the battery explosion issue to ensure that customers are please with Samsung's product.
