Eclipse Neon release finally brings HiDPI scaling across all platforms

The eclipse foundation today announced the release of the new Eclipse Neon IDE. This new Neon release is the 11th release of the popular Java/C++ IDE available for Windows, Mac and Linux. According to the official release notes, Eclipse Neon feature over 69 million lines of code contributed by over 700 developers.

Some of the new feature include the proper support for HiDPI displays on both Windows and Linux meaning that iconography and text will now be properly rendered on higher resolution displays. Besides that, this new IDE will also support Java 9 which is the next big release of Oracle's Java platform.
