It's official, Google is calling the next version of Android, Marshmallow. Announced earlier this year during Google I/O, this release of Android is not about all the big new features, it's about the small improvements made to the operating system that collectively make it a big upgrade overall.

Being showered with small white puffs, Google today also announced the final release of the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) SDK which is now available for developers to flash on to their devices.

Google will be officially rolling out Marshmallow in the fall alongside the launch of two new Nexus devices made by Huawei and LG. Stay tuned for more sweet goodness from the Android side.
