Check out the upcoming Xperia C5 Ultra's bezel-less display through these leaked photos
Samsung isn't the only one with a brand new Android smartphone, earlier this week Sony started teasing a brand new device which will be announced on August 3. For now we know that this mystery device will have a speedy camera and also a gold color option. But if you're a little impatient to hear what Sony has to say on Monday, behold, the jackpot of all leaks.
The images are clear and they show Sony's new Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5. The Xperia C5 Ultra is the one with the 6" 1080P display and the Xperia M5 comes with a smaller 5" 1080P display and unusually thicker bezels when compared next to the near bezel-less display of the Xperia C5 Ultra.
As you can see from the comparison below, the Xperia C5 Ultra just looks a little bigger than the iPhone 6 Plus which has a 5.5" display. Besides the 0.8mm thin bezels, the Xperia C5 Ultra will reportedly come with a Mediatek octa core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 2,930mAh battery. But that's not the whole point of the Xperia C5 Ultra, the dual 13MP front and back cameras is the main selling point.
The smaller Xperia M5 in the other hand also comes with an octa core Mediatek processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, a 2,600mAh battery and an IP68 rating. Just like on the Xperia C5 Ultra, the Xperia M5 also has a front facing 13MP camera but without the front facing LED flash. The rear camera is a 21.5MP f2.2 camera that is capable of 4k video capture.
Overall, these two new smartphones from Sony comes with a pretty attractive list of specifications and the source also mentioned that the Xperia C5 Ultra will go for about $350 (~RM 1,300) and the smaller Xperia M5 will be at about $400 (~RM 1,530). Expect to see an official announcement this coming Monday. In the mean time, enjoy these high quality images of both devices.
