Get your Windows 10 #HYPE up with a personalized badge
Just yesterday Microsoft officially launched Visual Studio 2015 for developers and next week, particularly on Wednesday, Windows 10 will be officially be coming to 190 countries worldwide. To induce all of this hype, Microsoft has launched a new custom badge maker site alongside a new Windows 10 TV ad to induce some hype around the launch on July 29.
The process to get your very own badge is pretty straightforward, just follow the steps on the link above and choose either to get your profile picture to various social networks and you're done. All you have to do now is to choose to put the 'Do Windows 10' branding on the top or the bottom and the new badge is ready to be updated on to social media.
There's an option to directly change your profile picture on Facebook and Twitter but for other sites, you will have to do it manually by downloading the photo. Stay tuned as we come closer to the official Windows 10 launch next week.
This campaign seems to be similar to that of Facebook's rainbow profile picture campaign from several weeks back to celebrate the Supreme Court's decision to legalize same sex marriage in the US.
