Just a couple of weeks ago, LG finally unveiled their new flagship device and yesterday the LG G4 started it's global rollout. Today, LG is taking the opportunity to unveil two new devices in the LG G4 family. Both the LG G4c and LG G4 Stylus are inherently related to the original LG G4 one way another.

“The G4 Stylus and G4c are perfect examples of what we mean by a premium smartphone experience without a premium price,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “We are committed to offering consumers in fast-growing markets LG devices that not only deliver performance, but also look good while doing so. Both the G4 Stylus and G4c will surpass customers’ expectations of what an LG phone should be.”
Starting off with the more affordable LG G4c, we're not sure what the 'c' stands for but it could very well imply that it's affordable. With a 5" 720P display and an unnamed 1.2GHz Quad core processor, this handset is not going to win any speed awards. The camera on the back is a standard 8MP shooter and the front facing camera is a 5MP one.

The LG G4 Stylus in the other hand is more closely related to the LG G4. In terms of size, it has a big 5.7" with a measly 720P resolution and it does come with either a quad core or octa core CPU depending on which cellular model you choose (3G or LTE). LG has also generously included a 13MP rear camera (8MP on 3G model) and paired it up with the same Laser autofocus system found on the LG G4 and LG G3.

The highlight of this device is not only the bigger screen but also the built in stylus. However, the stylus doesn't feature any fancy digitizer to power it as it's just a basic rubber tip stylus. The advantage here is the software enhancement which LG has built into the device to make it more convenient for note taking and doodling.

In terms of design, the LG G4c and LG G4 Stylus look very similar to the LG G4 with the placement of the camera, power and volume rocker on the back of the device. The colors offered are also identical to that of the LG G4's but the premium leather stitching back is not available for either devices.

Both devices run Android 5.0 Lollipop and features signature LG G series features like Knock Code and Gesture shot which allows you to easily take selfies. With these two devices, LG is also clearly highlighting the existence of a removable battery and microSD card slot, sounds like they're taking a jab at Samsung.

LG will begin rolling out the LG G4c and the LG G4 Stylus in key markets around the world in the coming weeks ahead. Pricing and general availability of these two LG G4's will be revealed when it gets launched in the region.
