Today HTC is seeing a change in their leadership team, Cher Wang former chairwoman will be succeeding Peter Chou as HTC CEO. The outgoing CEO however is not leaving the company but instead he will be leading the HTC Future Development Lab which oversees future product development.

For a little backstory, Peter Chou and Cher Wang formed HTC back in 1997 and since then he has been the company's only CEO. But, today's decision for a changes in the leadership team comes after countless efforts to revive the company from declining sales. Throughout the years since the original metal clad HTC One was announced, the company has started to see some positive change.

It's good to see Peter Chou focusing on product development as he leaded the company into their success today which won the hearts of many android users. Their HTC One line of devices has received countless awards since it's introduction and year after year it is still named one of the best android devices being released.
