Mark your calendars, Samsung's launching the Galaxy S6 on March 1
It's that time of the year again, manufacturers are gearing up to debut their brand new innovative devices during MWC in Barcelona. HTC has made their stamp for MWC and well today, Samsung has also confirmed their appearance during the mobile trade show happening early next month.
Titled 'what's next' in bold letters, the invite shows a silhouette of a shiny curved trim and besides the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 stamp on the bottom, that's about it for this first teaser. This is indefinitely a flagship device because events under the Galaxy Unpacked series are always linked to flagship devices.
After last year's fiasco with the Galaxy S5 which was not too good in looks, Samsung is looking to be making a big comeback for their flagship Galaxy S line of devices. The Galaxy S6 is reportedly build from the ground up and is made to be a 'premium' device. Despite confirmations of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 CPU not being included in the Galaxy S6, Samsung will be introducing their new 64-bit octa core Exynos CPU with the Galaxy S6.
Moving back to the poster itself, the silhouette might not be the Galaxy S6 rather it might just be the rumored Galaxy S Edge which will bring the curved screen like on the Galaxy Note Edge to the masses. Well, in my theory maybe it is the Galaxy S6 but Samsung might be teasing that the Galaxy S6's screen is bendable? Anything is possible.
So, what's next? The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event will be on March 1 in Barcelona just before MWC 2015 kicks off. Samsung will most probably be providing a stream to the event so, stay tuned a we'll keep you updated on that. What are your thoughts on the Galaxy S6, or do you prefer the HTC One M9.
