HTC Butterfly Now Available In Malaysia, Yours For MYR 2,299

This year will be the year of FHD phones and to start it off HTC launched the Butterfly late last year. To some good news the Butterfly has landed in Malaysia but the price is pretty steep at MYR 2,299. But for that price you will get a 5" 1080P display, a 1.5GHz snapdragon S4 pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of non expandable storage, the usual 8MP camera, a 2.2MP wide angle front facing camera, a 2020 mAh battery and beats audio. Overall if you want a good smartphone with outstanding features running android this is the one to get.

The Mighty Xperia Z Will Land In Malaysia By Q1 2013

One of the most hottest devices which was debuted last week at CES was the Xperia Z and ZL which will become Sony's 2013 flagship device. The Xperia Z and ZL both have 5" FHD screens, a 1.5GHz quad core processors, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and comes with Jellybean. Well good news, the Xperia Z will reach the shores of Malaysia by Q1 and will support the LTE spectrum Malaysia telecos use. Digi Prices The Nexus 4 At RM 1,499 With A 2 Year Contract

As expected, today Digi has revealed the pricings for the Nexus 4 which will be exclusively available at Digi. Digi is pricing the Nexus 4 at MYR 1,499 and will be paired up with the DG smart plan 88 which will weigh you down MYR 63 a month. This plan is subjected to a two year contract and the plan includes 8GB of data. The unlocked price for the Nexus 4 stands at MYR 1,649 and it is still unsure wheter this price is for the 8GB or 16GB variant. Head over to the source link to find out more.

Nexus 4 Landing In Malaysia On 7 January 2013, Exclusive To Digi

Earlier today Digi teased a new device coming exclusively to Digi next monday. Now on the official digi website they have put up a banner confirming the Nexus 4 will indeed com next monday and in addition to that it will also be a Digi exclusive. Pricing and availability is yet to be revealed, till today the rumored price is about MYR 1,7999 which is a pretty good deal for the specs of it. So stay tuned for more news on this.

Nexus 4 Launching In Malaysia Next Week, A Digi Exclusive Device

Its 2013 and the Nexus 4 is still not launched in Malaysia, currently the device is listed as coming soon in the LG website but there is still no official launch timeframe for it. Now it looks like we have sort of a time frame for the availability for it. Digi has just posted on their facebook page stating:

From the creators of the world's most used search engine... Comes a new smartphone that you can't find with any other Telco in Malaysia!Check back on Monday for updates :)

From their statement we can conclude that it is definitely the Nexus 4 because they say from the creators of the world's most used search engine.... From their statement it is also concluded that the Nexus 4 will be a Digi exclusive in Malaysia. They ask us to stay tuned for Monday for more updates, so until then stay tuned.

Samsung Expected To Sell 510 Million Phones In 2013

2012 has been a very good year for Samsung as they managed to sell over 400 million phones and thus taking the top spot from Nokia. Additionally Samsung also continued their reign on the Android platform by dominating every manufacturer. They also introduced 2 highly popular devices and one of them is 2012's top smartphone. So for 2013 Samsung has some plans and Korea Times have went ahead and revealed it. In 2013 Samsung is aiming to separate itself from its #1 rival Apple and they are expecting to sell 510 million phones in which 390 million will be smartphones. With the success of the Galaxy line of android devices, Samsung will also release a full line of Ativ devices which are powered by Windows. They are also going to release devices which will run the homebrew TIZEN software. Samsung is going to invest $2.2 billion to the factories manufacturing their devices in Vietnamese towns of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen by 2020 to boost output. Other sources points out that 240 million Samsung devices will be manufactured in vietnam, 170 million in china, 20 million in india and 40 million in korea. Read more about this here.
