The time is now and today Samsung Malaysia is officially launching both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in Malaysia. These two devices were launched about a month back in Mobile World Congress 2015. Samsung will be rolling out the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in select regions on April 10 but fret not as a week later, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will also be hitting shelves in Malaysia.

As expected, the price of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are RM 2,599 and RM 3,099 respectively. At the moment, Samsung Malaysia will only be offering the 32GB base Galaxy S6 and S6 edge but if there is indeed demand for higher storage options, Samsung Malaysia will most likely be obliged to bring in the 64 or 128GB models.

For a little recap, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are near identical twins and internally they pack the same Samsung exynos 8 core CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing selfie shooter. On the front, both devices feature a 5.1" Quad HD AMOLED display with the Galaxy S6 edge featuring a un-conventional curved display on both sides.

As for the availability of these two flagship devices, Samsung Malaysia will be opening pre-orders for both devices on their website starting tomorrow. The 32GB model Galaxy S6 is priced in at RM 2,599 and the Galaxy S6 edge starts at RM 3,099. Also, the price listed is already inclusive of the elusive Goods and Services Tax (GST), so don't go adding another 6% to the listed price.

Local telecos will also start accepting pre-orders starting today for the two new flagships from Samsung and prices and plans for that has yet to be revealed.
