Huawei might not be ready to launch their Windows 10 powered MateBook yet but at a launch earlier today, the chinese manufacturer announced the arrival of the Huawei Mate 8 into the Malaysian market. The device announced late last year comes with Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC that promises great performance compared to the Snapdragon 810.

While the new Huawei Mate 8 is no match compared to the Galaxy S7 edge that will be available in Malaysia late next week, the Mate 8 is priced pretty well. At just RM 2,099 for the Standard model with 32GB and 3GB RAM and RM 2,399 for the Premium vairant that comes with double the storage (64GB) and 4GB of RAM.

The Huawei Mate 8 is now available for purchase to Huawei's own vmall.com online store and also Lazada. And for a limited time, both Lazada and Huawei will throw in some freebies alongside the purchase of the Huawei Mate 8. Color options will depend on which version you choose and customers cand try out the Huawei Mate 8 at Huawei stores nationwide starting this Friday (March 11)
