Samsung's first smartwatch of 2015, the Gear S2 will be available in Malaysia starting November 27 and pre-orders will begin November 20. Being the company's first round smartwatch, the Gear S2 features an innovative new rotating bezel that acts as the primary interaction mechanism besides the 1.2" OLED touch display.

Besides that, the Gear S2 also runs on Samsung's Tizen OS instead of Google's Android Wear platform but the watch will support any Android phone with Android 4.4 Kitkat and above. In terms of hardware, the Gear S2 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 250mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC support.

Samsung's first round smartwatch is not only stylish with an optional Classic version that includes a standard leather strap and a more stylized bezel but it will also act as a pedometer to track your steps and measure your heart rate too. While Tizen OS does not have as much apps as Android Wear, Samsung assures that they are getting developers on board to create more apps for the Gear S2.

The Gear S2 will be priced at RM 1,399 while the Gear S2 Classic at RM 1,599 and Samsung will begin taking pre-order on November 20. The first 500 customers to pre-order the device will receive a 20% discount off their Gear S2 purchase and also an extra wireless charging dock worth RM 169.
