The Asus ZenFone Selfie brings self portraits to a whole new level

As expected, during the Zensation event at Computex 2015, Asus took wraps off their brand new smartphone which focuses on one thing, selfies. Unsurprisingly, it's called the ZenFone Selfie and the name already says half of the story.

Similarly designed like the recently announced ZenFone 2, the ZenFone Selfie also has a big 5.5" 1080P display and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU with 2GB of RAM. The power button is located up top and the volume rocker is just below the camera module on the back.

No intel processor on this little beast
Opposed to introducing a rotating camera module like on the Oppo N3, Asus chose to include two 13MP wide angle Toshiba 1/3.2" sensors on the front and back. Identically, there is a dual tone LED flash and also a laser autofocus system like the one found on the LG G4 on both sides of the ZenFone Selfie. This means that whether it's front or back, you'll get an equally pleasing camera experience.

To bump up your selfie game, there'll also be an optional accessory called ZenFone Selfie Swing which clips on to the device and lets you prop it up to any angles for your various vanity shots.

Finally, this is indeed still an Android device at heart and it'll come in 7 strikingly bright color options. Like all of the announcements here in Computex by Asus, there is no info on pricing nor availability for the ZenFone Selfie at the time of writing.
