At CES 2015 in January, Asus made a surprise announcements which is the Zenfone 2 and the more extensive Zenfone Zoom. Well, after holding a regional launch event in Jakarta last month, today Asus is officially launching the Zenfone 2 in Malaysia and customers in KL will be able to pick up all 4 variants next week.

Asus Malaysia will be bring all the 4 variants of the Zenfone 2 to Malaysia and the price ranges from RM 599 all the way to 1,299 for the top of the line 4GB model. Yes, the Zenfone 2 is indeed the world's first smartphone to feature 4GB of RAM and sadly you will only get this spec option for the top of the line model.

Alright, as you can see from the specifications of the 4 variants, it looks like the price is directly proportional to the hardware. As the price goes up, better hardware gets introduced. Asus will start rolling out the Zenfone 2 in KL next week and other states will follow on in the coming weeks
