Nokia, the company which dominated the mobile phone space back when the iPhone was still being developed by Apple. Last year, Microsoft completed the acquisition of Nokia's mobile division and Nokia instantly became a lost brand. Their terms with Microsoft states that Nokia as a company will only be able to use their brand on a mobile product circa Q3 2016.

That date is just a little over a year to go and re/code is reporting that two sources familiar with Nokia's plans have confirmed that Nokia is indeed planning some new mobile products. From smartphones running android to ambitious products like virtual reality, Nokia is ready to stamp their brand name onto products late next year.

We've already seen what Nokia is capable off with their Nokia N1 tablet which is running a forked version of android with their Z Launcher preinstalled. The Nokia left today is definitely geared up to produce some magnificent hardware and the dream of a top of the line Android smartphone with the Nokia brand might become a reality.

Also, the recent acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent could help Nokia get their brand new device into the market. So, what do you think, will you be willing to give the Nokia brand another chance?
