Two days ago, HTC officially announced the successor to last year's HTC One; The new device is called HTC One (M8) and the aesthetics of the device is quite similar to its predecessor. Powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 801 processor, the new M8 is now more bigger in every possible way when compared to the original HTC One. Other specs include a 5" 1080P display, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB via the microSD card slot, a 5.MP front shooter, and a Duo camera which consists of a 4MP ultrapixel camera paired with a 2.1MP depth sensing camera. The HTC One M8 will be coming to malaysia on the first week of April and will retail between RM 2,299 to 2,399. Maxis, Celcom, Digi and Umobile will also be offering the M8 with their various packages. Check out my initial thoughts of the device here at out international site

Flight MH370 Has Been Lost in The Indian Ocean and None Onboard Survived

Just moments ago, Najib Razak, PM of Malaysia has confirmed that flight MH370 which was heading to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on 8 March 2014 is lost in the Southern Indian Sea and there are no survivors from the crash. As we reported, 2 weeks back, the plane was supposed to land in beijing on that faithful morning. But, the did not happen and ever since then search and rescue operations have been undertaken by the Malaysia Government as well as 26 other countries. Currently the plane has still not been found but search missions to find out what happened to flight MH370 is underway. With this said i would like to express my deepest condolences towards the friends and family members of the 239 crew and passengers onboard flight MH370. Also i would like to take a moment of silence to pray and remember all those onboard flight MH370.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 From Kuala Lumpur To Beijing Goes Missing

Earlier this morning, news broke down that a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing went missing. The plane was supposed to land in Beijing at 6:30am local time but the plane failed did not do so. Soon after that an official statement by MAS group CEO, Ahmad Jauhari confirmed that the plane headed for Beijing went out of contact about 2:40am local time. The plane was a Boeing 777-200ER which was carrying 239 crew members and passengers onboard. Among the passengers there were 152 passengers from China, 38 passengers from Malaysia and another 35 passengers from 12 other countries (check out the passenger manifest below). 

Currently the plane is still missing and a couple of countries like Vietnam and Singapore are joining the search. The speculation now is that the plane has been struck with a catastrophic disaster because according to officials the weather conditions during the time flight MH370 went missing was calm. Also i would like to take a moment of silence to pray for the crew and passengers onboard flight MH370. Read the time feed below to learn more as this story develops.

[24/03/14—10:00PM] Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak has confirmed that flight MH370 has disappeared in the Southern Indian Ocean and that no one onboard have survived the crash. The plane however is still not found but search and rescue operations to find the plane is underway. Read more about it here

[13/03/14—1:00PM] Malaysia Airlines has announced that with this incident, they are retiring the MH370 and MH371 flight codes as a respect to the family members of the affected passengers and crew members. With that the Kuala Lumpur-Beijing code will be replaced with MH318 and MH319

[12/03/14—1:00PM] MAS says that currently there are 115 family members of the passengers and crew of flight MH370 in Kuala Lumpur and there are 72 caregivers providing support to the family members

[11/03/14—11:15AM] MAS went ahead and said that the plane which is currently missing went through maintenance on the 23rd of February which is 12 days before the incident.

[10/03/14—6:40PM] The two kilometre long oil slick which was thought to be from the missing Boeing 777 turned out to be oil from a ship after a chemical test was done. Also the floating object which was initially identified as a door of a plane turned out to be a moss covered cap of a cable reel. The Search and Rescue operation has also been expanded to cover our more areas

[10/03/14—5:30PM] Department of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Transport in Malaysia are cooperating with Malaysia Airlines in the Search and Rescue operation.

[10/03/14—10:00AM] Rescue teams from Australia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines and the USA are assisting in the search and rescue operation.

[09/03/14—6:20PM] debris spotted on the MH370 route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing which went viral online turned out to be not related to the missing plane by any means. Currently there are 22 aircraft and 40 ships involved in the search of flight MH370

[09/03/14—3:00PM] China is sending out their two warships "Jinggangshan" and "Mianyang" to help the search of the missing jetliner.

[09/03/14—12:30PM] NTSB and the FBI both have offered to send a team of people to help in the investigation of the sudden disappearance of flight MH370.

[09/03/14—9:30AM] After 30 hours since the incident, Malaysia Airlines has sent in their team of volunteers to help the family members of the passengers of flight MH370. They are also setting up a command centre in China, Kota Bahru and Vietnam.

[08/03/14—9:30PM] Vietnam Navy officials say that they have spotted a 20 kilometer long oil streak which looks like a spill from a crashed plane

[08/03/14—7:20PM] Malaysia PM Najib Razak says that numerous groups like Boeing and the FAA has offered to help in the search for the missing plane

[08/03/14—2:30PM] Malaysian Government denies rumors of the plane crashing at the gulf of Vietnam and dispatches the emergency response team to aid in the search.

[08/03/14—10:30AM] The airline revealed the statistics of the passengers and sid that the flight was piloted by Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, a Malaysian aged 53. He has a total flying hours of 18,365 hours. Next of kin of passengers and crew were contacted

[08/03/14—9:05AM] Malaysia Airlines is saying that the crew did not show any signs of distress and that rescue and search teams are being deployed

[08/03/14—8:30AM] Malaysia Airlines has confirmed that they have indeed lost contact with flight MH370 bound for Beijing
