UMobile Announces Their 4G LTE Network In Malaysia, Available TODAY!

11:06:00 PM dickwyn 0 Comments

Earlier this morning U Mobile has announced the availability of their 4G LTE service for their customers. The teleco company was recently awarded their share of Malaysia's LTE spectrum. Starting today customer will be able to instantly unlock LTE speeds within U Mobile's network if they have the following requirements:
-A Supported 4G LTE device (list here)
-supported prepaid, postpaid and broadband plan (list here)
-within coverage area (currently limited to certain areas)
With this introduction they are making things hassle free as customers which meet the requirements can automatically utilize the network's LTE connection by just sending 'LTE ON' to 28118 and that's it. Customer need not swap a SIM card or pay additional fees to subscribe to U Mobile's LTE network. In addition to that U Mobile will start to offer LTE device packages at a discounted price from the 17th of December through 31st January to celebrate this launch. Unfortunately at this time Band 3 devices like the iPhone 5S and iPad Air will not be able to take advantage of the network's LTE connection. In the coming months U Mobile will be spreading the coverage of their LTE network throughout the Klang Valley area and across Malaysia. To find out more about U Mobile's 4G click here
