The iPhone 5 was officially up for sale at 9 major countries on Friday and we are still waiting for new when it will arrive in Malaysia. I am guessing that it will arrive at the earliest by the end of october. But if you are impatient and want the latest and greatest now you can head over to an Apple store in Singapore to get one. But there is one problem with that, you won't have the proper SIM card to put in the iPhone 5. As you all know the iPhone 5 uses the nano SIM card and you can't just cut the SIM to make it fit like most people do to get micro SIM cards.

This is because the nano SIM card is 15% thinner. But now Maxis has announced that they are the first carrier in Malaysia to provide the nano SIM cards. They said that the nano SIM cards will be available starting September 24 for RM25. Currently the nano SIM card is only available in the stores listed below but Maxis said that majority of their Maxis centres will be offering the nano SIM card by the end of September.
